Death of woman in Baillieston treated as murder

The death of a woman at a house in Glasgow on Friday night is being treated as murder by police.

Officers said they were following a "definite line of inquiry" in relation to the 48-year-old's death in Baillieston.

They were called to the property in Barrachnie Crescent at about 20:20 on Friday.

Police Scotland said: "A post-mortem examination has been carried out and the death is being treated as murder."
