The Rally for Scottish Independence will be the second of three large marches held in the run up to next year's referendum. The march is proceeding from High Street towards North Bridge, over Princes Street into Waterloo Place, then Regent Road on to Calton Hill.
Speakers at the rally will include Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond and his deputy Nicola Sturgeon. The main Rally for Scottish Independence is the second of three large marches held in the run up to next year's referendum.

Organisers said they expected the procession to fill the whole length of the High Street, with overflow areas in both Parliament Square and West Parliament Square.
