Version 0 of 1.

No legal action is to be taken over an incident in which a woman in a wheelchair fell on to the track and fractured her hip at a railway station.

British Transport Police have carried out exercises simulating the incident at Southend Central station in Essex.

A member of train operator c2c's staff who helped rescue the woman from the line was suspended over health and safety breaches but later reinstated.

Police have ruled out anything suspicious about the "accident".

"After an in-depth look into all possible avenues of investigation, we believe there are no suspicious circumstances and the incident has been deemed an accident," a transport police spokesman said.
