A 27-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a three-year-old boy in Lisburn, County Antrim. A murder investigation is under way following the death of a three-year-old boy in Lisburn, County Antrim.

There are no further details. A post-mortem examination was carried out on the boy but the results are believed to have been inconclusive. Local MLA Paul Givan said it was a "heartbreaking story".
"It's very tragic that we had the death of this infant and my heart goes out to the family that are affected by this," he said.
"For anyone to lose a child, particularly in these circumstances, is devastating."
