A murder investigation is under way following the death of a three-year-old boy in Lisburn, County Antrim. | |
The boy was found dead on 4 July at a house in Trinity Terrace, near the centre of Lisburn. | |
Police have arrested a 27-year-old woman. | |
A post-mortem examination was carried out on the boy but the results are believed to have been inconclusive. Local MLA Paul Givan said it was a "heartbreaking story". | |
"It's very tragic that we had the death of this infant and my heart goes out to the family that are affected by this," he said. | |
"For anyone to lose a child, particularly in these circumstances, is devastating." |
