The jury is still deliberating a second assault charge on another fan. Madine is due to be sentenced next month.

Judge Rodney Jameson QC told the jury of seven men and five women that he would accept a majority verdict on the remaining counts. The jury cleared him of the more serious charge of causing grievous bodily harm.
Madine denied causing grievous bodily harm and the alternative charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against Mr Beresford. In relation to the attack on Mr Hall, he was cleared of the more serious charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He also denies causing grievous bodily harm with intent and the alternative charge of causing grievous bodily harm against Mr Hall.
