Police to identify crash victims Two sets of brothers die in crash

Police are expected to release the names of three men in their 20s and two children who died in a head-on collision in Derbyshire. Police have named five people who died in a head-on collision in Derbyshire.
A Ford Sierra and a Renault Megane collided at Shuttlewood on Saturday. Brothers Joshua and Leon Taylor, seven and four, died when their mother's Renault was in collision with a Ford Sierra near their Shuttleworth home.
Police are investigating whether the Ford had been involved in a high-speed race with a motorcycle at the time. Three men in the Sierra died. They were brothers Kenneth and Martin Jones, 25 and 22, and Andrew Darnell, 21, all from Bolsover.
A 17-year-old male has been arrested. The mother of the children who was driving the Megane suffered non life-threatening injuries. The police are investigating whether the Sierra was racing a motorbike when the accident happened on Saturday.
Her 12-year-old nephew was taken to hospital but his injuries were also not thought to be life-threatening. A 17-year-old motorcyclist has been arrested.

The two boys, who died in the crash, have been identified but their names have not yet been released. Joshua and Leon Taylor's mother was seriously injured and is in hospital along with her 13-year-old nephew.
