The funeral of the Londonderry man killed in the Thai air disaster has taken place. Thai air crash victim Aaron Toland "did the ordinary things of life in an extraordinary, unforgettable way", a priest told mourners at his funeral.
Aaron Toland, who was 22-years-old, was buried following Requiem Mass at St Columba's Church, Longtower, in Derry on Monday. More than 1,000 people attended Requiem Mass for the 22-year-old Londonderry man killed in last week's plane crash.
His friend, Chris Cooley, who was injured in the crash has been moved out of intensive care in a Thai hospital. Speaking in St Columba's Church, Longtower, Derry, on Monday, Fr Kieran Page paid tribute to Mr Toland.
"You can rest from your labours, your good deeds have gone before you," Fr Page said.
Aaron's friend, Chris Cooley, who was injured in the crash has been moved out of intensive care in a Thai hospital.
