Four other people - including a boy of 13 - were taken to hospital after the blaze at Crimond, near Fraserburgh. The man, aged 53, and 47-year-old woman died following the blaze at Crimond, near Fraserburgh.

As well as the boy of 13, a male aged 19 was taken to hospital in Peterhead. The woman and older man who survived the fire were detained for treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Five of the six people involved were closely related and the other was a guest at the house.
