The search for a young man missing from a North Sea ferry will not resume. A man reported missing from a North Sea ferry has been named.
A major air and sea search was launched for the 22-year-old on Monday during Hjaltland's sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen. Craig Townsley, 22, of Shetland, was last seen at about 03:30 on Monday on the ferry Hjaltland travelling from Lerwick to Aberdeen.
Hjaltland retraced its east coast route, and was joined the the search by lifeboats, commercial vessels and a helicopter. A major air and sea search was launched, with Hjaltland retracing its east coast route, joined by lifeboats, commercial vessels and a helicopter.
