The "be aware" warning is in place all day on Saturday and includes much of north Wales, south west Wales and the mid Wales coast.
Local authority areas affected by the warning are: Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Swansea and Wrexham.
