Kamil Dreszer, 27, of north London was convicted after a trial following the discovery of Andrzej Kulesza in a field in Northamptonshire. Dreszer, of Edmonton, was ordered by an Old Bailey judge to serve a minimum of 22 years for the "appalling" killing, which was over a debt. Mr Kulesza was found dead by a dog walker in April 2011. Dreszer was also convicted of false imprisonment and preventing the lawful burial and disposal of a corpse. 'Physical trauma' Mr Kulesza, of Stamford Hill, London, was reported missing to the Metropolitan Police by his girlfriend after going to buy milk and bread in September 2010 . His remains were found on 25 April 2011 by a woman walking her dog, in a field near Rothersthorpe. Artur Janik, 27, of Walsall, West Midlands, was also found guilty of manslaughter, kidnapping, false imprisonment and preventing the lawful burial and disposal of a corpse. He was jailed for 11 years. Daniel Kosowski, 40, of Upton Park, who was found guilty of preventing the lawful burial and disposal of a corpse, was jailed for 30 months. Det Ch Insp Andy Chalmers said: "The three defendants, seeking revenge for a debt, kidnapped and tortured the victim before dumping his body in a remote location, presumably imagining it would never be found. "They acted in an appalling manner and one can only imagine the physical and emotional trauma Andrzej suffered during the hours he was held captive. I am satisfied at today's convictions." |
