New measures to support victims and witnesses of crime in Northern Ireland are to be unveiled later.

Criminal Justice Minister Paul Goggins will unveil a five-year plan to help them try to cope with their experiences and rebuild their lives.

The plan includes a Victim Support Witness Service which provides pre-trial visits to court.

A new web-based information guide will provide users with a step by step guide to the Criminal Justice System.
