Version 0 of 1.

The jury in Phil Spector's murder trial has been told not to watch a TV show about the case - even though one of the jurors is a producer on the series.

The jury is to begin the fourth day of deliberations to decide whether the record producer shot actress Lana Clarkson in 2003. He denies murder.

They were instructed to avoid Wednesday's edition of Dateline NBC.

"Juror Number 2, you are now on lifetime jury duty," Judge Larry Paul Fidler quipped to the producer.

"I thought I was already," the juror replied.

The panel of nine men and three women has been in service since the second-degree murder trial began on 19 March, and has been deliberating on the verdict since Monday.

Mr Spector's lawyers have argued that it was a case of suicide rather than murder.

The 67-year-old music producer could face between 15 years and life in prison if found guilty.
