Led Zeppelin to confirm reunion Led Zeppelin confirm reunion gig
(39 minutes later)
Rock group Led Zeppelin are expected to announce a one-off reunion concert at a press conference on Wednesday. Rock group Led Zeppelin are to reform for a tribute concert to the co-founder of Atlantic Records, Ahmet Ertegun.
Singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones, split after drummer John Bonham died in 1980. Singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones, will reunite for the one-off show at the O2 arena in London on 26 November.
The trio, who have not performed live for 19 years, are expected to be joined by Bonham's son Jason for the reunion. Pete Townshend and Bill Wyman will also perform. Tickets will be allocated by public ballot, and cost £125.
Led Zeppelin's pioneering heavy rock made them one of the most popular bands of all time. The show is due to take place at London's O2 arena. Ertegun, who signed Led Zeppelin in the 1970s, died last year after falling at a Rolling Stones concert in New York.
Promoter Harvey Goldsmith will make the announcement at the 20,000-capacity venue, formerly known as the Millennium Dome. "During the Zeppelin years, Ahmet Ertegun was a major fund of solidarity and accord," said Plant in a statement.
"For us he was Atlantic Records and remained a close friend and conspirator.
"This performance stands alone as a tribute to the work and life of a longstanding friend."

Fans have been excitedly discussing the show on message boards - but many are concerned about how difficult it will be to get a ticket, and how much they will have to pay.
