Man 'critical' after city assault

A man who was attacked in Belfast city centre remains in a critical condition in hospital.

The 23-year-old suffered serious head injuries during the attack which happened early on Sunday morning.

The man was assaulted in the Dunbar Link area/Gordon Street area between 0130 and 0230 BST.

Police are questioning three men in connection with the attack. They have also appealed to witnesses to come forward.
