Each week, a new guest hosts the @IndigenousX twitter account to discuss topics of interest as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. In partnership with IndigenousX, we're inviting its weekly host to tell us about who they are, what issues they're passionate about, and what they have in store for us during their upcoming week. | Each week, a new guest hosts the @IndigenousX twitter account to discuss topics of interest as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. How much time have I got? Incarceration, manufactured consent, tribal law, crown law. I think society is overwhelmed with distractions like football (not LFC), reality TV, rubbish programming in order to "dumb down" the intelligence of the masses. | How much time have I got? My grandfather was the first male child born on Palm Island in Queensland. In 1957 he led a a group of men to strike as a protest against poor conditions, wages and lack of equality. During the 1960s equal wages for black people had been achieved. My grandmother was stolen at around 10 years old from a region near Cooktown. She entered the world without a birth certificate, and is nearing 100 years old. | My grandfather was the first male child born on Palm Island in Queensland. To be a cryogenic preserve, in a way that it will allow my spirit to be free to disturb or please as I like. Then I could come back in the future with new technology and live again in a world too sophisticated and advanced for my brain. | To be a cryogenic preserve, in a way that it will allow my spirit to be free to disturb or please as I like. I also hope to inspire my son to learn and live life with simplicity, satire and honour. I have been invited to exhibit in New York in September this year – shameless self promotion – so I look forward to becoming a full time story teller whether it be on canvas or on TV and @IndigenousX. | I also hope to inspire my son to learn and live life with simplicity, satire and honour.
