Pte McClure, a member of the 1st Battalion, was killed alongside Ptes Robert Foster and John Thrumble, from Essex, on 23 August, whilst on patrol. Tributes painted on walls, and flowers adorned the route to the church.

The church was full for the service, some members of the congregation at the service wore T-shirts adorned with tributes to Pte McClure - a further 150 people gathered outside.
Ptes McClure, Foster and Thrumble had been taking part in a fighting patrol to disrupt Taleban activity to the north west of Kajaki, when they were hit by a bomb dropped by a US aircraft.
The US State Department said it was "deeply saddened" by the deaths of the soldiers and the "tragic incident" would be thoroughly investigated with British allies.
Nine soldiers from the Royal Anglian Regiment have been killed in Afghanistan in the past four months.
Pte McClure is to be buried with full military honours.
