Appeal after man is 'set on fire'

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was found in Dunfermline with serious head injuries and burns.

It is understood the 35-year-old local man had been set on fire.

He was found at the back of flats at Inchkeith Drive at about 2330 BST on Saturday. The incident is currently being treated as attempted murder.

Fife Police appealed to anyone in the area between 2200 BST and midnight to come forward. An incident room has been set up at the Dunfermline station.
