Fire crews are dealing with a fire at a shopping centre in Downpatrick, County Down. A fire which badly damaged part of a shopping centre in Downpatrick is thought to have been started deliberately.
About 25 fire fighters are tackling the blaze in the centre in Market Street, which was discovered at about 0420 BST. It took fire crews almost three hours to bring the blaze under control at the Grove Shopping Centre.
The fire, which is understood to have broken out in the roof of the building, has spread to three other shops. Market Street has been closed to traffic. Shop units and part of the mall have been extensively damaged by the blaze, which spread to three adjacent stores.
