Version 0 of 1.

A nine-year-old boy admitted burgling a house and stealing the keys to a car that crashed moments later.

Cleveland Police said a red Vauxhall Vectra was stolen from a home on Miller Crescent, Hartlepool.

It crashed into a parked Renault Megane on 16 May.

The child was too young to be prosecuted because he was under the age of criminal responsibility, the force said. A spokeswoman said inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
