Two 17-year-old are due before magistrates in Haverfordwest charged with killing a man who died after an attack in Pembroke last month. One of the youths is accused of the murder of Paul Roberts. The other is charged with joint manslaughter. Mr Roberts, 41, a keen amateur footballer, was assaulted outside a petrol station on the Green just after midnight on 12 August. He died five days later in Swansea's Morriston Hospital. The mayor of Pembroke spoke at the time of the town's shock. The teenagers, who live locally, were arrested in connection with the subsequent police inquiry but were then released on police bail. They were later re-arrested and charged, one with murder, and the other with joint manslaughter. |
