Version 0 of 1.

A 28-year-old woman was found dead in the boot of a car as her husband's body lay in the garage of their home in Lancashire, police have said.

A post-mortem examination has shown that Jodie Lee Weller had been stabbed in her back and had a head injury.

Police said a pipe had been fed from the car into the garage where her husband Graham Weller, 39, was found.

Officers were called to their house on Colts Foot Drive, in Chorley, on Saturday afternoon.

No one else is being sought in connection with the inquiry, police said.

Toxicology results are needed to confirm the exact cause of Mr Weller's death but it is expected they will show he died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The couple are thought to be originally from Scotland and moved to Chorley some time ago.
