Beautician Mrs Parsons, 31, died from multiple stab wounds at the property in Lucerne Avenue on 1 December. The jury had been told Mr Parsons stabbed beautician Mrs Parsons, 31, to death after learning she had a new boyfriend.
The court has heard Mr Parsons stabbed her to death after learning she had a new boyfriend. Mrs Parsons was heard getting ready for a weekend break in London and saying goodbye and 'I love you' to her eldest son as he left their home for a party.
The argument began a few minutes later.
The court heard Mr Parsons say: "If I was trying to find out if you were cheating on me, I would probably be investigative, but you're out in the open.
"I don't want to be hearing details."
His wife replied: "If you went away, I would miss you. But that doesn't mean I want to be married to you again."
Mrs Parsons died from multiple stab wounds at the property in Lucerne Avenue on 1 December.
