The explosion happened at the front of a house at Oakvale Gardens, Dunmurry, at about 2310 BST on Saturday. The boy, who has cerebral palsy, was asleep in the living room of a house at Oakvale Gardens, Dunmurry, on Saturday night when the explosion happened.
The boy, who was with an elderly woman in the living room, suffered cuts and bruises and was treated in hospital. He suffered cuts and bruises. An elderly woman who was with him was unhurt but is said to be traumatised.
