Two men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in Renfrew. | |
Mark McGartland, 22, described as being of no fixed abode, and Duncan Paterson, 22, of Brown Street, Renfrew, were charged with killing James O'Donnell. | |
They are alleged to have repeatedly struck the 20-year-old on the body and leg with a knife on 14 October. | |
Neither man made any plea or declaration when they appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on petition and both were remanded in custody. | |
Paterson is also alleged to have assaulted Marina O'Callaghan by repeatedly punching her on the head and body. |
