A 55-year-old man has appeared in court in Lisburn charged with grievous bodily harm with intent against a woman. | |
Sean McCann from Wellington Street in Lurgan was also charged with a further count of assault causing actual bodily harm on a man. | |
The charges relate to an alleged road rage incident in Lurgan on Friday. | |
A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after an incident at Church Place in the town centre at about noon. She was knocked unconscious. | |
It is understood she was a passenger in the car with her husband when they were involved in an argument with another man. | |
A detective constable told the court that when the charges were put to Mr McCann, he made no reply. | |
He said he believed he could connect him to the charges. | |
He was remanded in custody to appear via video-link on 9 November. |
