Leeds murder probe after man dies from chest injury

A murder inquiry has been launched in Leeds after a man died from a serious chest injury.

The 21-year-old local man was found at a property on Beckhill Chase in Meanwood at about 23:45 BST on Tuesday, after police were called to the scene.

The man had suffered fatal injuries and was confirmed dead a short time later.

An area around the property remains sealed off while forensic investigations are carried out, West Yorkshire Police said.

Police have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them.
