Boy, 15, stabbed in street fight

A teenager is in a serious condition after being stabbed several times in a fight in east London.

The 15-year-old boy was with friends on Hackney Road when a fight started following an altercation with another group at 2150 BST on Sunday.

Police said he was stabbed a number of times during the fight and then stumbled onto a stationary bus, number 55, and collapsed.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested over the stabbing.

The victim, who is thought to live locally, remains in hospital. His condition has been described as stable.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
