Bookmakers have cut the odds on twins Sam and Amanda Marchant winning this year's Big Brother when the Channel 4 reality show ends on Friday.

The pair, who have agreed to be counted as a single contestant for nominations and voting, are now hot favourites at 2/7, according to Ladbrokes.

But they will have to share the £100,000 prize if they do win. Brian Belo is second favourite at 5/2.

Four others - Liam, Carole, Jonty and Ziggy - are also left in the house.

A Ladbrokes spokesman said: "As far as punters concerned, it's a straight fight between the twins and Brian. Liam's fallen by the wayside."

The Marchant sisters, who have been in the house since the show began three months ago, are the only housemates to have gone throughout the entire series without receiving a single nomination.

On Friday, Kara-Louise Horne and Tracey Banard became the latest housemates to be evicted.
