Indecent assault on 16-year-old

A 16-year-old girl was indecently assaulted as she climbed the stairs of a close in the west end of Glasgow.

The incident happened in the Broomhill area at about 0005 BST.

Strathclyde Police said the girl had got off a bus on Dumbarton Road but after entering the close she was approached from behind and attacked.

The suspect was described as being white, about 16-18 years old, 5ft 7in to 5ft 8in, with light brown hair, broad shoulders and a rounded face.

He was bare chested and wearing navy tracksuit trousers.

He made off along Balshagray Avenue.
