13-year-old boy hurt in shooting

A 13-year-old boy is being treated in hospital after being shot by what is believed to be a pellet from an air weapon, say Greater Manchester Police. The boy was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary and his injuries are not thought to be critical. Police said no arrests had been made over the incident in Arnott Grove in Hulme, Manchester, on Saturday evening. The incident comes days after 11-year-old Rhys Jones was shot dead in Croxteth in Liverpool. |
