Teenager stabbed on high street

A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan.

South Wales Police said the boy suffered a serious stab wound to the thigh just after 2000 BST on Friday.

He was taken to the Princess of Wales hospital in Bridgend, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A 17-year-old male youth has been arrested in connection with the incident which took place on Cowbridge High Street.
