Security alert at Belfast's Broadway roundabout

A security alert at the Broadway roundabout in west Belfast is causing major traffic disruption.

Police said a suspicious object had been discovered in the area at about 08:00 GMT during rush hour. Army explosives experts are at scene.

The M1 is closed from Stockmans Lane to Broadway roundabout.

The Westlink has also been closed. City-bound traffic on the M1 is tailed back to beyond junction three at Black's Road.
