Supt Steve Nibloe said officers are "deeply concerned" about the welfare of the mother of the baby. | |
"This is clearly a very upsetting incident and we already have a number of officers dealing with this at the scene and making other enquiries," he said. | |
"If anyone has any information whatsoever, regardless of how insignificant you think it might be, please get in touch. | |
He appealed for anyone who had seen someone in the area or thinks they might know who the mother is to contact police. |
