Man charged with pensioner murder Man remanded over woman's murder

A 36-year-old man is due to appear in court charged with the murder of a County Down pensioner. A 36-year-old man from Donaghadee has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of his elderly neighbour.
The body of Tilly Campbell, 77, was found at her home in Barnagh Park, Donaghadee at about 0600 BST on Monday. Police had appealed for help from people in the area in tracing her final movements. Tilly Campbell, 77, was found at her house in Barnagh Park on Monday by firefighters called to the scene following reports of a fire.
The man is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court. Robert George Harvey, of Barnagh Park, pleaded not guilty to the charge at Newtownards Magistrates Court.
Mr Harvey was remanded in custody until 10 November.
