A 16-year-old boy has died and another is in a serious condition following a stabbing in Bolton, Greater Manchester. A 16-year-old boy who died after being stabbed in Bolton, Greater Manchester, has been named as Andrew Holland.
The youngsters were involved in an altercation outside Ashys Takeaway in Plodder Lane, Farnworth. Andrew, one of two boys stabbed in an altercation outside Ashy's takeaway restaurant in Plodder Lane, Farnworth, was stabbed in the neck.
The pair, who have not been named, were taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital where one of them died. The other boy, who is also 16 but has not been named, is in a serious condition in hospital after the incident at about 2250 BST on Friday.
