Wrexham woman's death unexplained, say North Wales Police Wrexham: Suspicious death of Glynis Solmaz in Caia Park

North Wales Police say they are investigating the death of a woman in Wrexham. The suspicious death of a 65-year-old woman whose body was discovered in a Wrexham house is being investigated by North Wales Police.
Police were called to an address at Bryn Hafod, Wrexham at 10:02 GMT on Wednesday following reports that a body had been found in the house. Officers were called to Bryn Hafod, Caia Park, on Wednesday morning, where they found Glynis Eileen Solmaz.
The death is being treated as unexplained, a spokesperson said. The cause of death has not yet been established, and a post-mortem examination will be carried out by a Home Office pathologist.
Police say that no more details are currently available. Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen Ms Solmaz since the weekend.
Officers said she lived alone, and had two Rottweiler dogs which she took for walks regularly locally.
She is also understood to have visited local convenience stores and went to pubs in Wrexham.
Det Insp Iestyn Davies said: "We are currently treating the death as suspicious, but the cause has yet to be determined.
"We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen Ms Solmaz any time since the weekend, up to this morning.
"Anyone with information is asked to call Wrexham CID at North Wales Police on 101 quoting incident number P026849."
