Man critically hurt in shooting Youths 'may have chased' shot man

A man has been left in a critical condition following a shooting near a railway station in south London, police have said. Police are investigating whether a man was chased by youths before being shot near a south London railway station.
Officers were called to Tulse Hill station at 2310 BST on Thursday after reports of gunshots being heard. The victim, aged 24, was attacked in the area around Tulse Hill station on Thursday night.
A 24-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment to suspected gunshot wounds and is now in a stable condition.
No arrests have been made. Tulse Hill station was closed for most of the morning but it has now reopened. Detectives said witnesses reported seeing a man being chased by youths in the area at the time of the shooting. No arrests have been made.
Tulse Hill station closed to allow forensic examinations to be carried out and reopened on Friday afternoon.
