A 40-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 31-year-old Stephen Davidson in Bangor last weekend. A 40-year-old Bangor man has appeared in court charged with the murder of 31-year-old Stephen Davidson in the town.

The accused will appear before a special sitting of Newtownards Magistrates' Court later on Saturday. A solicitor for Paul Stephen Bustard, of Avonlea Park, said he denied the murder and had acted in self defence.
He also faces charges of drugs possession and a threat to commit arson. He was also charged with possession of and conspiracy to supply cocaine and threatening to destroy property.
Mr Bustard was remanded in custody to appear again at Newtownards Magistrates Court on 19 February.
Mr Davidson was found dead in the living-room of his house by a relative last Sunday night.
He was last seen alive on the Newtownards Road in Bangor at about 21:30 GMT on the previous night.
