One of the two convicted sex attackers who absconded from bail hostels in Yorkshire on Monday has handed himself in to police. A second convicted sex offender who absconded from a bail hostel is in police custody after being arrested in London.
Joseph Taylor, 27, is in police custody after being arrested at York railway station at 0915 BST, a South Yorkshire Police spokesman said. Just before 2000 BST on Thursday police arrested 58-year-old William Bailey at Victoria Station.
Taylor and William Bailey, 58, have links with North Yorks and Essex. Joseph Taylor, 27, had earlier been arrested at York railway station, a South Yorkshire Police spokesman said.
They left addresses in Rotherham and York and were last seen together at Sheffield railway station. After leaving addresses in York and Rotherham they had been seen at Sheffield railway station.

Bailey had served three-and-a-half years of a five-year sentence and was released from prison on licence just a week before he absconded, according to probation officials.
South Yorkshire Police are expected to give more details on Friday about Bailey's arrest.
