Family tribute to murdered doctor Witness hunt over doctor's murder

The family of a doctor found murdered in her car in Kent have paid tribute to a "dedicated mother and loving sister". Hundreds of leaflets are to be handed out to people in the Kent town where a doctor was stabbed to death to try to prompt witnesses to come forward.

A family statement said: "We are very shocked and upset and feel a great loss. She was loved deeply by all of us and will be terribly missed." Police are also putting up posters in the area to jog people's memories.
Dr Anyetei's body was found by her 19-year-old son on Tuesday morning. The attack motive remains unclear but detectives have said the killer may be a former patient or his or her parents.
He and another young relative who lives with them are being cared for by relatives in Essex. A team of 20 officers are following a number of lines of inquiry.
"Victoria was a very kind hearted and helpful woman who was a dedicated mother and loving sister," said the statement issued on Thursday. They are appealing to anyone who saw anything untoward in Teynham Road, Whitfield Crescent or Watling Street on Tuesday morning, between 0700 BST and 1030 BST.
Dr Anyetei left home for work at 0800 BST and was found by her 19-year-old son at 1020 BST.
It is believed the killer may have lain in wait in her car, a silver Toyota Avensis.

Officers are keeping an open mind on the motive but say it is possible she was killed by a former patient or their parents.
