A man has been charged with murdering a former musician in Bradford. A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a former musician who was stabbed to death in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police said a 63-year-old was due to appear before Bradford Magistrates Court later. Derek Newby, 63, of Rimswell Holt, Ravenscliffe, was remanded in custody by Bradford magistrates.
Two 19-year-old men and two other men, aged 22 and 52, who were arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, remain in custody, police said. He will next appear at the city's crown court on 21 February. Four other men arrested on Sunday remain in custody.
