Police have said there was evidence of a violent struggle in the house. Police have said he died as a result of a violent struggle but would not give details of his injuries.
A 30-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were arrested over the killing on Monday afternoon.
"We cannot say at this stage if he let attackers into house and are not in a position to say if drugs were involved," a police spokesperson said.
"All this will also form part of the inquiry."
