The family of a 30-year-old woman who died in a shooting incident in Leicestershire said her death had left a "massive hole" in their lives.

Hayley Pointon, from Coventry, was pronounced dead at an address in Hinckley on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination revealed she died from a single gunshot wound.

In a statement, her family said she was "a devoted mother of two young children who will now have to grow up with just only a memory of their mum".

It said: "We have lost someone so special to us.

"What has happened has left a massive hole in not only our lives but that of Hayley's friends and their families.

"Anyone who knows anything that will help justice be done, please as a family we beg you to please inform the police."

A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge.

Two men, aged 29 and 36, arrested in connection with the shooting have been bailed pending further inquiries.

Leicestershire Police said it was continuing to look for two men wearing hoods who left the scene in a dark car.
