Police confirmed both men have been bailed. 'Anxiety and distress'
Police said both men had been bailed.
A spokesman from Shaw Healthcare, on behalf of the home, said the allegation was being taken "extremely seriously".
"Following a meeting with a family member when we were recently made aware of incidents of poor care relating to a resident at one of our care homes, we immediately referred the matter to the police and informed all relevant local authority teams," said the spokesman.
"We acknowledge the anxiety and distress that this has caused the resident and their family and we also wanted to have the opportunity to reassure the other residents and families."
A Care Quality Commission (CQC) spokesman said a report into care at the home would be published later this month.
A previous CQC inspection of The Granary highlighted some areas for improvement.
The spokesman said the CQC was aware of the police investigation at The Granary, and said it took the safety of residents extremely seriously.
