Long queues of traffic have formed on a main bypass road into Cardiff city centre following an accident. Commuters in and out of Cardiff on a link road to the M4 faced long queues following an accident.
A car has collided with the central reservation on the A4232 which links the M4 with Culverhouse Cross and Cardiff Bay. A car collided with the central reservation on the A4232, linking the M4 and Cardiff Bay.
Only one lane is currently open which has caused long delays stretching back to and along the M4. Diversions along the motorway are in place. The crash, in heavy road, blocked both lanes on the inbound A4232 and brought long queues for traffic moving outbound via Culverhouse Cross.

Mark Buckley, of the Traffic Wales Camera Centre, said the accident happened at about 0720 BST.
He said: "The rain was so bad. The crash caused huge congestion, as it always does."
