Police investigating the death of a couple on a tandem bicycle have been granted more time to question a 38-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. A man arrested after a couple died in a tandem bicycle crash, has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
Nicholas Lovell, 38, was detained after of Ross and Clare Simons died on Sunday, in Hanham, near Bristol.
The couple both died at the scene of the accident, where a candlelit vigil was held for them on Monday night.

The officer began to follow the car but lost sight of it.

The couple had been married for about 18 months.
