But motorists have been warned of hazardous conditions, including on the A48 near Carmarthen, the A478 at Llandissilio, Pembrokeshire and on the A484 at Cardigan in Ceredigion.
The A4061 Bwlch and the A4233 Maerdy mountain roads in Rhondda Cynon Taf are still closed but the Rhigos mountain road at Hirwaun is now passable with extreme care.
