Wales snow: Hazardous road condition following overnight snow | |

There are warnings of hazardous driving conditions on many main roads in south Wales following heavy snow overnight. | |
Cardiff and the south east have seen the heaviest snowfall with 10 cm (4in) in places. | |
Speed restrictions are in place on the M4 around Cardiff and Newport, and on the old Severn Bridge at Chepstow. | |

The overnight snowfall led to an earlier lane closure on the M4 westbound between junction 28, Tredegar Park, and junction 30, Cardiff Gate, but this has since been cleared. | |
The Bwlch, Rhigios, and Maerdy mountain roads in Rhondda Cynon Taf and the Caerphilly mountain road are closed due to snowfall. | |
