The whole of Wales has been put on ice alert for a second day as temperatures overnight may plummet to as low as -5C. Drivers are being urged to take care on the roads following a second night of freezing conditions which saw temperatures plummet to as low as -5C.

BBC Wales weather presenter Owain Wyn Evans warned ice could remain on roads and pavements for several days as temperatures remained low.
"On Saturday night it's very likely to freeze again and tomorrow looks relatively similar to today - cloudy, cold with the odd snow shower," he said.
On Friday, 10,000 homes in west, south and north Wales were left without electricity while 1,388 schools around the country were shut following heavy snowfall.
